  • I grew up in San Francisco, CA.
  • I was raised speaking Spanish and English and playing lots of sports.
  • I graduated from UC Davis in 1999.
  • I received my multiple subject teaching credential from the Bilingua, Multicultural Education Department at CSU, Sacramento in 2001. 
  • I have a Spanish Single Subject credential.
  • I taught for 3 years in Galt Joint Unified as a 4th and 5th grade teacher.  
  • In 2004, I was able to stay home with my first born and remained an at home mom for 15 years.
  • I’ve been married for 18 years. I have 4 children: Isabel is a sophomore at COHS, Ava is an 8th grader at EPMS,, and Asher is a 3rd grader, and Ivy is a 2nd grader at Elliott Ranch.
  • While a parent at Elliott Ranch, I have stayed involved as a classroom volunteer, an Art Docent, PTO chairs for the Rocket Run and Silent Auction, and a member of our School Site Council.
  • In my free time, I love watching my kids play sports and spending time as a family camping and traveling.
